Uranus to Host Trunk or Treat

On Saturday, October 29th from noon until 3:00pm a Trunk or Treat event will be held in the parking lot of Uranus Missouri.  There will be free candy and games for the kids.

The public is invited to participate by bringing their vehicles and candy to the parking lot, there will also be a contest for the best decorated car or truck in a voluntary contest.  For those wishing to participate in the contest, there will be a $5.00 charge with the winner taking 100% of the cash prize.

Also participating are the Pulaski County Ambulance District, Waynesville Fire Department, several employees of the Fudge Factory/General Store, Chicken Bones, Mission Outpost Outdoor Outfitters, and numerous others.

Tina Elliott, General Manager of the Uranus Fudge Factory and General Store, and coordinator of the event said “We are really looking forward to seeing the kids decked out in their costumes; it’s always a great time of year.  I hope many in the area will come out and open their trunks filled with candy as we provide a fun and safe environment for the kids to Trunk or Treat.”

All citizens and civic groups are invited to join in the Trunk or Treat event, all you need to do is arrive at the Uranus parking lot shortly before noon to decorate your vehicle if you wish to, and be ready for the ghost and goblins to start showing up.
